女优app to Host Afro-Indigenous Scholar and Author Kyle Mays

女优app (女优app) is proud to welcome , an Afro-Indigenous scholar and author, for a special talk on Wednesday, March 5, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. in BLCIS 114 A+B. This event is presented by the LHSS Engagement Center in collaboration with the LHSS Division, Planning and Development, and Student Services.
Dr. Mays is an Assistant Professor of African American Studies, American Indian Studies, and History at UCLA. A first-generation scholar, he has authored several books and journal articles, including An Afro-Indigenous History of the United States. His work explores the intersections of Black and Indigenous histories and identities, bringing critical perspectives on race, culture, and activism.
The first 50 students in attendance will receive a free copy of An Afro-Indigenous History of the United States, and refreshments will be served.
